HMD Global has recently launched three Nokia-branded smartphones namely Nokia 3, 5, and 6. So far, these phones were huge success as seen in the worldwide demand and online traction. When we attended the press launch of the Nokia trio smartphones, I was advised by one of the HMD executives that another launch will happen sometime Q3, which may lead to the upcoming rumored flagship, dubbed as the Nokia 8.
It is not the first time we’ve heard of the Nokia 8. In fact, there was a leaked video in May posted by @EvLeaks on Twitter showing a peculiar phone alongside with the recently launched Nokia smartphones.

Few days ago, @EvLeaks posted an image render of the Nokia 8 sporting curved display design that looks similar to the Nokia 5, both in metallic blue and silver colors.

Rumor has it that HMD will be announcing this Android 7.1.1 Nougat-powered phone on July 31, and with its recent appearance in the FCC database as model number TA-1012, that seems likely to happen.
According to various benchmarking apps, this device sports 5.3-inch, Snapdragon 835 chipset, QHD resolution, either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and a pair of main cameras with dual 13-megapixel resolutions and Carl Zeiss optics. No details in pricing obviously, so please stay tuned, we’ll keep you posted.
