Sega Forever will launch tomorrow and bring five classic games to Android and iOS devices. The initial list will include Sonic the Hedgehog, Comix Zone, Altered Beast, Kid Chameleon, and Phantasy Star II. New games will be added on a bi-weekly basis and will span the company’s entire history. There is no information if the classic games will also arrive on Windows 10.

“As the Sega Forever collection expands through months and years, it will include both official emulations and ported games that pan all Sega console eras, each adapted specifically for mobile devices while remaining faithful to the original games,”

The Sega Forever collection will be free, but users can opt to pay $1.99 to turn off the ads that normally support the games. Despite the games are originally classic, Sega has promised they will have several modern features to make them more convenient including cloud saves, online leaderboards, and Bluetooth controller support. It is also worth noting that all of the games in the Sega Forever collection will be playable offline as well.
