The Nokia X6 has gone on sale in China for the fourth time and was well received by fans. In fact, Juho Sarvikas, HMD CPO, has made plans to make the device available outside China. The major selling point of the X6 is its competitive price, eye catching design and powerful specs.
On Nokia Mobile’s official Weibo account, the Nokia X6 was listed as the 2nd top selling smartphone on JD – China’s largest online smartphone retailer.
The device got 1.8 million online pre-reservations on both JD and Suning for all variants. This means that HMD Global has to produce more Nokia X6 smartphones at a faster pace to meet the demands on both retailers. The Nokia X6’s global variant was already planned internally with slightly different specs than its counterpart. We just have to wait for the device to see the light of day later this year.
Nokia X6 has received overwhelming reviews from the web and fans around the world. It is because the X6 is the first Nokia device to embrace the most controversial design identical to that of the iPhone X’s notch. With the Nokia X6 selling well in China, do you think it is a good idea that HMD should bring this to other markets? Will you grab the Nokia X6 once it goes global?
