Today, the Nokia Pro Camera has arrived to the Nokia 8 via software update under Android 8.1 Oreo (V4.888) with a size of around 600MB. To get this update, Go to Settings – System – System update. Make sure you have sufficient battery charge to proceed.
The Nokia Pro Camera has greatly improved the overall imaging capabilities of the Nokia 8, even in lowlight. The shutter speed is so much faster and bokeh mode for front facing shots is also included. However, we’ve noiticed that shutter speed is quite limited for up to 1/2 seconds only. We are very pleased with our initial impressions, we will post more photos soon to test the image quality on this new update.
