India has one of the largest Nokia mobile fanbase. It is one of the places where Nokia has a high market share, all thanks to their loyal fans. The unforgettable “when in India” line seen in Nokia blogs brings back memories of Indian fans eagerly awaiting for the latest from Nokia. This only shows their loyalty to the brand despite the company’s ups and downs.

Today, Nokia Mobile India announced the release of the new Nokia 2.1, 5.1 and the 3GB/32GB variant of the Nokia 3.1. The Nokia 3.1 is available in India for some time now but only the 2GB/16GB version was released. So it’s nice to see the 3GB version making its way to the market for our power users. The trio of new Nokia phones has been announced in Moscow back in May and are the successor of the first generation Nokia phones released last year. They all come with updated hardware slapped with an Android One software inside (except for the Nokia 2.1 which is an Android GO phone ).

The Nokia 2.1 will be available in India for INR 6,999 (87 euros). It will come in 3 metallic color variants: Blue/Copper, Blue/Silver and Grey/Silver. The Nokia 3.1 3GB/32GB variant will cost INR 11,999 (150 euros), which is a bit pricier than the 2GB/16GB variant. It will also come in three colors: Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome and White/Iron. Finally, the Nokia 5.1 will be available for INR 14,499 (182 euros). There are also 3 classic colour variants to choose from: Copper, Tempered Blue, and Black. The trio will go on sale on August 12 via Nokia’s online store and through major retailers. Customers can also get the devices via Paytm mall where they can take advantage of cashbacks and other promotions.
