Fortnite’s popularity rose when it hit consoles and PC’s last year. Following the Battle Royale formula, Fortnite is keeping up with the likes of PUBG and Rules of Survival. And of course, a popular game won’t be complete if it doesn’t have a mobile version of it.

Released on iOS back in April, Fortnite finally makes its way to Android just this month. It’s not available in the Google Play store though, so you have to go to their website to acquire the game. At the moment, Fortnite is released as an open beta for selected smartphones. Luckily, one of these phones include the Nokia 8.

Yes, you’re seeing that right. It’s available as an open beta for the Nokia 8 and not the Nokia 6 which we initially reported earlier this month. It should come as no surprise since the Nokia 8 is a flagship phone very much capable of running the game. We are still positive that the other Nokia Android smartphones will have the game in the near future. The likes of the Nokia 7 Plus, the Nokia 6.1 or even the Nokia 8 Sirocco all looks like a good candidate for running Fortnite on Android, so let’s hope they’ll make it compatible for these phones soon.

However, it seems that the beta program remains buggy for the Nokia 8. Let us know if you were able to successfully enter the beta program and make it run on your device.
