We know this sounds absurd for the Lumia 520 compete against the iPhone 5 on this camera shoot out test – low-end vs high-end smartphone. And most of you will thought that its a sure win for the iPhone 5 since it has an 8-megapixel iSight camera while the 520 has a non Carl Zeiss 5-megapixel camera. But let’s see if the Lumia 520 can withstand this test.

We all know that Windows Phone doesn’t need four cores to run smoothly but Nokia has to keep up with the competition and demands. That being said, Nokia is reportedly working on a device running on a quad-core processor using a Snapdragon 800, contrary to earlier reports.
Earlier we’ve posted the leak details of the Nokia RM-877 spotted on FCC and has passed certification. And we assume that it is the Nokia EOS device. Now, another Nokia device has gone through FCC certification and under RM-941.
There has been numerous number of movies where Nokia phones have been featured for the past 10 years. Just recently, the Lumia 925 has appeared on the Man of Steel film together with other Lumia models (Lumia 800 or Lumia 920). Now, another Lumia device spotted on the latest installment of the Wolverine film.

The Man of Steel, Nokia Lumia 925, which has been available for pre-order in China, will possibly be officially launched in June 19. The aluminum-polycarbonate Lumia will have an estimated price of 4299 Yuan, which includes a wireless charging kit.

There’s a new Nokia device just passed the FCC today with RM-877 that comes with an AT&T LTE band. As the ‘Zoom Reinvented’ event draws near, there is a strong possibility that this is the Nokia ‘EOS’ handset.

Good news for Lumia users running on Windows Phone 8, GDR2 update is coming very soon!
Telstra has posted the upcoming handset updates on their support site section. There are couple of handsets posted in there, both Android and Windows Phone. Surprisingly, it shows that the Lumia 920 and 520 will get the update first and its currently on “Waiting for initial vendor submission” status. The expected date of approval is on July 15 so once its approved, then its just a matter of days when it will be deployed to user’s handsets.

Another rumor has recently come out that Nokia is cooking for a more affordable version of the Lumia 920. This is aimed to compete against the lower end iPhones or even the other Android phones. This will be released at the same time with the rumored Nokia phablet sometime in September or October. For all we know that the Lumia 720 is the lite version of the Lumia 920 but there’s no stopping Nokia for giving us something new.
We know for a fact that Windows Phones doesn’t need much CPU cores to run smoothly and lag free unlike Android. But its still great to see that Windows Phones will finally get to taste a quad-core boost. Surprisingly, an unknown Nokia Lumia device appeared on a benchmark site, GFXBench, showing that it is running on a 4 cores.

In our recent posts, we’ve posted a leaked image of the aluminum metal cap for the Nokia ‘EOS’ camera and its chassis. We think that it could be just a prototype model since we’ve seen the polycarbonate version before .
There was endless number of leaks and rumors for the much anticipated Nokia Lumia ‘EOS’ which is rumored to have a 41-megapixel camera sensor to replace the all glory Nokia 808 Pureview. Nokia has also sent an invite on July 11th at NYC entitled ‘Zoom Reinvented’. All these rumors have led us to think that the EOS is real. Its just few weeks away from the Nokia Event, another sets of images leaked on the internet showing the metal cap of the puported Nokia ‘EOS’.
